About Me!

My name is Francisco Bruno. I live in the sunniest part of the Sunshine State, Miami, Florida. I am 22 years young. I was born in Puerto Rico (La Isla del Encanto), but I was raised here in Miami.

My hobbies include: computers, camping, hiking, sailing, listening to and singing music (I am in a choir), computers, philosophy, psychology, theology and juggling. Did I mention computers?!?

In my life, I feel, I have achieved many goals. I am an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America. I have also earned the National Explorer Leadership Award through the Sea Scouts of America. When I was in NJROTC, I was recognized as the Distinguished Cadet and was also awarded both the Sons of the American Revolution Leadership Award and the American Legion General Military Excellence Award.

I have, for the better part of the last five years, been involved with the Office of Youth and Young Adults of the Archdiocese of Miami, helping out with events related to youth ministry and advocating for the youth. The youth have been an inspiration to me and to my calling in life.

Currently, I am a seminarian for the Archdiocese of Miami. Yes, this means I am studying to become a priest in the Catholic Church. I am in my senior year at St. John Vianney College Seminary studying for a bachelor's degree in philosophy with minors in theology and psychology. So please keep me in your prayers... I have twice been recognized by The National Dean's List since being in the seminary for academic achievement.

Before entering the seminary, my concentration of studies resided in computer science with a specialization in networking and internetworking at Miami-Dade Community College, where I also worked in the CIS Department as a Lab Tutor and substitute professor
